I seem to be getting rough on the idea of men’s fellowship with packages. Study books. Agendas. DVD’s on well-recognized speakers.
Meanwhile the one with the really big hurt must abide the program of the hour and hold his tongue and restrain his tears. Or the gladsome testimony is missed.
Let’s doff the whole buttoned-down format. Let’s be courageous enough to gather, Bibles in hand; yesterday’s questions to discuss; the Holy Spirit apparent to guide discussion, praise, prayer and comfort.
