In times of great adjustment spiritually we must rehearse the places where the Lord has taken us. We must exercise the weapon of thanksgiving. As we recall His many deliverances we are humbled but also reminded that nothing is too difficult for Him.
The book of Nehemiah is focused on revival and rebuilding. In the ninth chapter the Levites give a long recitation of God’s dealings with the children of Israel through their wanderings; of their repeated disloyalties and of His indomitable mercy.
They reflect as follows:
